Welcome to the frequently asked questions (FAQ) page. Most of the information can be found in other places on the website and has been pooled from there and from customer feedback. OPENING Is the nursery open to the public? Yes. 1st May-31st October Tuesday-Sunday and Bank Holidays 10am-5pm. November through April by appointment only. ORDERING In what size pots are the plants sold? 9cm (3 1/2 inch).
Can the plants be planted immediately on arrival? Yes
Are frost hardy lavenders the hardiest? No, they are hardy to -5C to -10C. In other words they will withstand some frost. Very hardy lavenders are the hardiest and should withstand -15C. | Why no online payment? We 'phone when plants are ready to ensure all mailing details are correct and customers know exactly when their orders are arriving. We then relieve customers of their hard earned cash, just a few days before orders are mailed.
Why no padlock icon to show the site is secure? It is only a website that takes online payment that requires a padlock icon. | |
